People please! for 24 hours can you just Love Your Fathers?
Look at the role model they have to look up to and the example to live up to ....the Standard of the perfect father...:
I am not talking about their own fathers I am talking about God the Father.
Every father is going to fall short of God.
That is why God said call no man your father
| Mat 23:9 | And call no [man] your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.. |
we all seem to have some daddy issues. Get over them.
you want God to forgive you? ... forgive your fathers.
Love them. If ...you truly love God... or else... you are a liar
| 1Jo 4:20 | If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? |
I love my fathers : my biological; my step-father; my uncles ; my pastors, my older sibling, and every elder Male person I know I treat as a father and love them. My favorite name is Daddy. And I know I am not the Poster for Daddy of the year. But, my 4 daughters love me and have a real love for God. they have begun well my four and I have faith in the Father above that he will help me be the best reflection of him to my children...his children ... that I can be.
So, Call the Poor excuse for a reflection of God and show him some compassion. The standard is too high. And if you fail to see how important looking past your fathers faults and seeing his need for Jesus and your love... then you are not worthy to be called a child of God.
Don't think my fathers were perfect or even God fearing their whole lives...they love God now and serve him but that was brought about over time through tough times and tears. but worth it.
Love your Fathers. It will free you from one of the Devils strongest holds on your life. I promise you will feel powerful.
Do Nice things for your dad he doesn't deserve them and neither do you deserve God's forgiveness.
Yet God let his perfect Son die for a wicked person like you .
We are all wicked without Jesus .
All sin from the little white lie ...-... to the gay child rapist murderer. all sin stinks like week old moldy garbage on a hot day at a waste treatment facility to a perfect and righteous God.
We Don't deserve God... He just Loves us anyway. So, be his child, and love your fathers ...anyway.
Choose even for just this day, to not remember anything bad, and find some Good to love in him. It is there

If you call be prepared to send an offering/gratuity even a penny for my thoughts (not trying to get rich here I am storing riches in heaven if I can help you love your dad into God's kingdom that is my pay) time is money. Lol...no, seriously, pray about that call...
you don't need me you need God to give you a word. I don't want people calling me and dumping how bad dad is or was ..., if you are not going to listen to God...you certainly don't want to hear what I have to say so don't call unless you are willing to try. I will try to help you find a way to love your dad... and that may take some time, which is not free. Your job wants your time, your family wants your time; your friends want your time; and if you break the law they will take ...yep...your time. The freedom Christ offers is worth your time.
So, call Jesus and forgive your dad

Righteousness delays the destruction of the wicked and gives time to the lost to be found. I.E.: Nineveh repented at Jonah's preaching; Sodom and Gomorrah was not destroyed till Lot was out with his family; The Flood did not happen till the boat was done and Noah and family were inside...etc.
Be Righteous children of God Forgive your Fathers. God hates sin but loves sinners enough to sacrifice for them.
hate the evil your fathers have done but love your Fathers as God does.
